Writing is a depiction of language in a textual Medium. It is a way of preserving thoughts and ideas using symbols (i.e. letters.) This page, through systematic instruction, explains to you How To Write. Given that you know the Twenty-six letters in the English language, their functions and basic grammar this page will guide you through writing. In order to simply the writing process it has been split up into 10 sections. You begin the writing process by Analyzing, Anticipating and Adapting. These three aspects are known as Pre-Writing. You begin by choosing your topic, Analyzing your purpose for writing. You then Anticipate the nature of your audience. Think about the people you are writing for. Then Adapt your message so that it is appropriate for your topic and audience. When these steps are finished you then move to the next three steps.
This is the stage known as Writing. The writing process begins with Research. You must gather appropriate sources, information and references in order to inform your audience most appropriately. Once you have formulated your purpose, thought about you audience and researched your topic you should Organize your information in order to facilitate Composition. Your first draft comes next. Composing this should be simple if the proper step were taken in advance. Once these steps have been completed you will then advance to the final stages.
Proper Revision is what makes a good work great. When revising always go slowly. Proofreading comes after and only after revision. This is important because we do not to waste time proofreading sections that might be thrown out in the revision stage. Evaluation is also important to get feedback and to be certain of the effectiveness of your writing process. Lastly make sure to Reference all your sources. Not referencing sources can lead to grave consequences academically. You should also want to give credit where credit is due.
